HHS Connect – Terms and Conditions

• Eligibility: Portal access is limited to approved HHS Connect members in good standing.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify HHS Connect immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Account Updates: You agree to keep your account information accurate and up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Portal, you agree to:

• Treat all members and partners with respect and professionalism.
• Use the Portal only for lawful purposes related to professional collaboration and development.
• Avoid posting or transmitting any unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Refrain from attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Portal or its systems.

4. Intellectual Property

• HHS Connect Content: All Portal content, including text, graphics, logos, and downloadable materials, is owned by or licensed to HHS Connect and protected by intellectual property laws.
• License to Members: You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use resources for your personal or organizational purposes only.
• Restrictions: You may not copy, share, sell, or redistribute Portal content outside your organization without written permission from HHS Connect or the original content creator.

5. Third‑Party Content and Links

• The Portal may include resources, templates, tools, or links provided by third parties.
• HHS Connect does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third‑party content or services.
• Your use of third‑party content is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Portal is subject to our Privacy & Security Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Portal, you consent to the practices described in that policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• HHS Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Portal.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Portal will not exceed the amount you have paid for your membership in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination of Access

• HHS Connect may suspend or terminate your account at its sole discretion for violation of these Terms or for conduct deemed harmful to the community.
• Upon termination, your license to access and use the Portal immediately ends, and you must stop using any content obtained from it.

11. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in the Portal, and your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Portal shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
